A) Unique Arrowhead Tread Design

By adding shallow grooves and a unidirectional pattern, this achieves balanced performance between wet and dry conditions.

B) Silica-reinforced High-grip Tread Compound

Increased silica molecules with highly reinforced carbon black rubber works to maximize performance in both dry and wet conditions. By adding silica carbon to the tread compound, you accomplish many things. Usually found in expensive ultra high performance tires, silica adds traction and reduces the effects of temperature change from ambient temperatures or hard driving. Using the advanced silica compounding enhances the wet braking abilities and also helps to increase tread life. The results are a tire that is good on wet or dry roads with longer than normal tread life.

C) Multi-width Evacuation Channels

Evacuation channels help accelerate water from the center to the edge of the tire tread face. These grooves narrow as they reach the shoulder of the tire increasing the size of the shoulder block area. This design not only improves wet road traction but also improves steering, braking and accelerating response.

D) Stability Control Slits

The strategically positioned slits provide resistance to irregular wear during aggressive braking. They also assist with water evacuation during wet conditions.

 

E) Tapered Center Block Edge

By rounding and angling the leading edge, the center block movement is stabilized and irregular wear is decreased. In addition, this also helps to increase resistance to hydroplaning.
